Grade 12: Spanish foundations
Start with a unit whose prerequisites fit. Work through the lessons, use the study guide to review, and try the new cases before continuing.
- Unit 1 · 4 lessons
Introduce Background and Habitual Past
The imperfect can present a past situation from inside its ongoing or repeated course rather than as one completed event. Compare the narrator’s intended viewpoint; do not replace this distinction with a claim that one tense means long and another short.
Before you begin: Read explicitly completed-past records and recognize infinitive stems.
- Unit 2 · 4 lessons
Connect Clauses without Losing Meaning
A short narrative combines background, events, order, reasons and previously identified objects. Each connector or pronoun carries a specific relationship; using it correctly keeps the original story’s evidence and participants intact.
Before you begin: Distinguish explicitly supplied preterite/imperfect viewpoints and agree noun groups.
- Unit 3 · 4 lessons
Revise a Message for Meaning and Agreement
Revision checks more than fluent appearance. A corrected message should preserve its assigned speaker, referent and intended relationship while fixing a precise agreement, accent or register problem. Use only the fictional texts supplied here.
Before you begin: Use adjective agreement, present subject forms, direct-object references and basic respectful/informal conventions.
- Unit 4 · 4 lessons
Practice Bounded Reading and Writing Decisions
A useful final practice combines grammar with evidence from a short supplied situation. Preserve facts, constraints and communication purpose; a polished sentence is insufficient if it changes the record or invents information.
Before you begin: Read the preceding supplied messages, noun agreement, present/past forms and address conventions.
Check what you can explain
The subject test uses additional supplied cases across these units. Its feedback links back to the relevant lessons. Use it to plan practice; a score on these questions is not a school grade or proof of complete subject mastery.
