See this course’s project requirements

A fictional recurring service account plan with success criteria, dependency milestones, adoption evidence, scope-risk escalations and an honest renew/revise/end recommendation.

Keep your working files in your own notebook or software. Save a private description, checklist, and work link in My Proof.

What to include

  • Translate the fictional agreement into observable success and role boundaries.
  • Map setup/data/staff dependencies with actual owners and evidence.
  • Provide a checked first-use summary and explicit support-stage labels.
  • Reconcile raw files with three distinct useful weeks and the W3 gap.
  • Prepare an unsent voluntary renewal outline and conditional renew/revise/end recommendation.

Review and revise

Use these criteria to check your work and choose what to improve.

  • Useful use requires the specified checked work product, not access counts.
  • Dependencies and service/customer responsibilities remain distinct.
  • Adoption totals deduplicate weeks and preserve missing evidence.
  • The recommendation follows the supplied rule without pressure or invented acceptance.

The idea in everyday life

Fictional recurring service: Cedar Stock supports customer Elm Shop with a weekly stock-summary template for four weeks. The agreement supplies template setup, two staff practice sessions and support for four weekly summaries; Elm owns approved item data and its staff schedule. Useful-use evidence means a staff member independently completes a summary that reconciles to the supplied item list. A login, opened email or downloaded template is not enough. All account records are fictional, every required exercise is a paper/local-document draft, and no subscription or customer outreach is required.

The idea

Adoption measures should count the defined activity once and expose gaps. A file total can be inflated by duplicates even when actual work has stalled.

Review adoption evidence and stalled milestones — supplied practice

W11YesUser A: item totals reconcile
W22YesUser B: one valid summary plus duplicate upload
W30NoCustomer item data not approved in time
W41YesUser A: item totals reconcile

Copy as plain text
  1. 1. Preserve the register

Copy W1–W4 with all received-file counts and issue notes.

You should see: Received files total 4:1+2+0+1.

The raw count remains visible for reconciliation.

  2. 2. Count distinct useful weeks

Count W1, W2 and W4 once each; do not turn the duplicate W2 upload into another week.

You should see: Three of four weeks have useful-use evidence:75%.

The unit is weeks with a qualifying summary, not uploaded files.

  3. 3. Explain the stalled week

Retain W3’s pending customer data approval as the supplied blocker; do not infer staff ability or motivation.

You should see: W3 is missing useful-use evidence due to its stated dependency.

A measured gap and an assumed reason are not the same.

  4. 4. Assign follow-up

Request D’s data-approval action and a subsequent checked summary; keep the result pending until observed.

You should see: The plan targets the blocker and specifies what evidence would change the status.

A requested action does not create a fourth successful week.

Now change one thing

A fifth upload duplicates W4’s already checked summary. How many distinct useful weeks remain?

Your work

What to finish

An adoption review with raw/deduplicated counts and an owned W3 follow-up.

Common mistake

Watch for this

Counting four received files as four useful weeks when one file is a duplicate and one week is absent.

How can I tell I understand it?

Follow-up evidence is requested without being counted in advance.
