A fictional recurring service account plan with success criteria, dependency milestones, adoption evidence, scope-risk escalations and an honest renew/revise/end recommendation.

Keep your working files in your own notebook or software. Save a private description, checklist, and work link in My Proof.

What to include

  • Translate the fictional agreement into observable success and role boundaries.
  • Map setup/data/staff dependencies with actual owners and evidence.
  • Provide a checked first-use summary and explicit support-stage labels.
  • Reconcile raw files with three distinct useful weeks and the W3 gap.
  • Prepare an unsent voluntary renewal outline and conditional renew/revise/end recommendation.

Review and revise

Use these criteria to check your work and choose what to improve.

  • Useful use requires the specified checked work product, not access counts.
  • Dependencies and service/customer responsibilities remain distinct.
  • Adoption totals deduplicate weeks and preserve missing evidence.
  • The recommendation follows the supplied rule without pressure or invented acceptance.

The idea in everyday life

Fictional recurring service: Cedar Stock supports customer Elm Shop with a weekly stock-summary template for four weeks. The agreement supplies template setup, two staff practice sessions and support for four weekly summaries; Elm owns approved item data and its staff schedule. Useful-use evidence means a staff member independently completes a summary that reconciles to the supplied item list. A login, opened email or downloaded template is not enough. All account records are fictional, every required exercise is a paper/local-document draft, and no subscription or customer outreach is required. Supplied decision rule: recommend unchanged renewal only if all four useful weeks are evidenced and dependencies are confirmed for the next period; recommend revise when a specific fix addresses a current gap but future confirmation is pending; recommend end if no acceptable supported route remains. Current next-period data approval is unconfirmed.

The idea

A supported recommendation can be conditional. State the rule, use the current evidence and distinguish a recommendation from an executed customer decision.

Recommend renew revise or end from the record — supplied practice

  1. 1. Reconcile the final record

Retain three distinct useful weeks and W3 unresolved; keep duplicates and what-if practice separate.

You should see: Current evidence is 3/4, not4/4.

The recommendation must use the actual final baseline.

  2. 2. Apply the stated rule

Compare the missing week and pending next-period approval with each branch.

You should see: Revise is supported if the customer accepts an approval-schedule fix; unchanged renewal is not yet supported.

The outcome is conditional because another role must decide the new arrangement.

  3. 3. Define evidence that would change it

Name actual W3 resolution and confirmed next-period dependencies as needed records; consider end if the customer declines the feasible revision.

You should see: The plan shows how renew or end could become justified later.

A conditional decision is useful when its conditions are inspectable.

  4. 4. Assemble the handoff

Combine agreement/success card, dependency map, first-use example, adoption register and unsent renewal outline.

You should see: The final account plan is a supported revise recommendation with no executed renewal claim.

Completing the learning artifact does not require winning a sale.

Now change one thing

All four useful weeks are now evidenced and next-period dependencies confirmed in a changed case. Which branch fits: renew, revise or end?

Your work

What to finish

A complete recurring-account plan and a conditional renew/revise/end recommendation.

Common mistake

Watch for this

Calling a recommended revision an accepted renewal or counting hypothetical fixes as completed use.

How can I tell I understand it?

Conditions for a future changed recommendation are explicit and not claimed completed.
