Review: Read Questions, Numbers and Schedules
Questions request a particular kind of information. Number words, clock expressions and date labels then communicate amounts or times; use the explicitly supplied practice records rather than a real schedule.
Bring the unit skills together
Use these 4 new cases to check your reasoning. Choices are temporary and are not saved to an account, sent to staff or recorded as school grades. Download your current review choices before leaving or reloading.
The download contains your current choices and any checked feedback. Keep the separate transfer-task work in your own document; downloading its instructions does not mark it complete.
Use the skills in a new task
Create a four-part Spanish practice sheet from the following supplied situations. 1. The aim is to ask for a time/date. Complete the supplied frame ¿___ termina el taller? using only the missing question expression. Candidate answers: (A) Cuándo (B) Cómo (C) Dónde (D) Quién. 2. The supplied practice record contains exactly 50 items. Choose the correctly spelled standalone Spanish cardinal for 50. Candidate answers: (A) cincuenta (B) dieciséis (C) veintidós (D) veintitrés. 3. The supplied twelve-hour clock shows 08:00. Which complete offered expression gives that exact reading? Candidate answers: (A) Es la una. (B) Son las dos. (C) Son las ocho. (D) Son las tres y cuarto. 4. Fictional language record: weekday miércoles; month agosto. Which offered sentence preserves both labels with ordinary in-sentence capitalization? Candidate answers: (A) La actividad es el Miércoles en Agosto. (B) La actividad es el lunes en agosto. (C) La actividad es el miércoles en agosto. (D) La actividad es el miércoles en enero.
Work on paper or in your own document. Explain the choices you made.
- Use the exact supplied situation and speaker rather than personal details.
- Show the relevant word ending, evidence phrase, time cue or meaning distinction.
- Write all four requested results with accents and punctuation.
- Explain one rejected alternative and check that meaning remains faithful to the input.
Compare with a model response
1. Cuándo. The requested information is a time/date, so the missing expression is Cuándo. It directs the reply to that type of information. Preserve its written accent and distinguish a reason question Por qué from an explanatory porque. 2. cincuenta. The stated quantity is 50, whose standard standalone spelling is cincuenta. The other choices name different amounts. Preserve any accent and the joined or separated structure of the selected number. 3. Son las ocho. 08:00 has the hour and minutes represented by Son las ocho. Use singular Es la at one and plural Son las for other practiced hours; cuarto means fifteen minutes and media thirty minutes. 4. La actividad es el miércoles en agosto. The record supplies miércoles and agosto. Both occur inside the sentence and therefore stay lowercase: La actividad es el miércoles en agosto. Preserve the original labels rather than substitute a more familiar day or month.
A different response can also meet the criteria. Compare the evidence and reasoning, rather than copying the wording.
