An original three-icon SVG kit with 32 px and 64 px PNG variants, a reference sheet and a usage readme.

Keep your working files in your own notebook or software. Save a private description, checklist, and work link in My Proof.

What to include

  • Three original icons: book, ticket and chat.
  • A 64 px grid, explicit margins and consistent 4 px base stroke.
  • An editable source and two checked raster sizes per icon.
  • A side-by-side family sheet with small-size review notes.
  • A readme naming colors, sizes and original fictional practice status.

Review and revise

Use these criteria to check your work and choose what to improve.

The idea in everyday life

Use the three 64 px icons. Target PNG previews: 64 and 32 px. Keep the SVG master unchanged.

The idea

Vector geometry can scale, but small previews still need a visual legibility check.

Follow along

Check icons at real sizes — guided practice

Produce large and small previews without destroying the source.

Use the three 64 px icons. Target PNG previews: 64 and 32 px. Keep the SVG master unchanged.

  1. 1. Step 1

Select the page export area in File > Export. Enter width 64 px, save a PNG preview and inspect it at 100%.

You should see: A 64 px preview preserves the intended canvas.

    Set a reproducible starting state.

  2. 2. Step 2

Export the same page at 32 px wide. Inspect whether the page seam, chat tail and ticket divider remain distinct.

You should see: The 32 px preview exposes crowded details.

Use editable geometry and explicit values.

  3. 3. Step 3

If one detail merges, edit a copy of that icon: remove a nonessential divider or widen a narrow gap. Save a separate small variant.

You should see: A separate source preserves the full-size master.

Check the result against the visual specification.

  4. 4. Step 4

Record which small variant changed and why; compare both versions at 32 px before choosing.

You should see: The decision is supported by a small-size comparison.

Preserve evidence for the next stage.

Now change one thing

A 4 px stroke scales from 64 to 32 px with the whole artwork. What width is its scaled equivalent in px?

Your work

What to finish

The decision is supported by a small-size comparison. Save the corresponding source and notes.

Common mistake

Watch for this

Do not substitute a screenshot for the editable SVG.

How can I tell I understand it?

Explain the result, reproduce the procedure, and complete the changed-input check.
