Grade 9: Arts & music

Start with a unit whose prerequisites fit. Work through the lessons, use the study guide to review, and try the new cases before continuing.

  1. Unit 1 · 4 lessons

Functional Design, Projection Models, and Process Evidence

Link a design’s purpose, representation and evidence. Prioritize required information, apply a stipulated projection model, construct an argument from visible features and organize a portfolio so a reviewer can trace revision decisions.

Before you begin: Use ratios and inverse relationships; distinguish actual evidence from an outcome claim.

  2. Unit 2 · 4 lessons

Scale Spelling, Interval Identity, Voice Motion, and Cues

Use multiple pieces of score information together. Retain supplied scale spellings, combine generic and chromatic interval distances, compare fixed-voice movement costs and synchronize an original audiovisual cue plan.

Before you begin: Read semitone numbers and note-letter lists; add timeline start and duration.
