Review: Directions and feedback

Use coordinate-free routes, pace symbols and criteria to revise movement models.

Unit review questions
1. Use direction words precisely: A figure turns from top-facing to right-facing. Which forward arrow fits after the turn?
Need a hint?
  • State whose direction or which map reference is used.
  • A turn can change body-relative forward without moving the map.
2. Read pace as a model instruction: Two strips have equal card count; one uses 1 beat per card and the other 2 beats per card. Which describes the 2 beat strip?
Need a hint?
  • Compare timing for the same action count.
  • A rest uses time but is not another action.
3. Count sequence time without double-counting: Fictional case 5: actionSeconds=15, restSeconds=20. What is the modeled result using the stated method?
Need a hint?
  • Add each supplied whole-plan duration once.
  • Rest time is part of duration but does not become active time.
4. Revise from observable feedback: A route crosses a second obstacle despite avoiding the first. Which revision fits?
Need a hint?
  • An observed error does not reveal a person’s motive.
  • Change the feature relevant to the criterion, then recheck it.

The download contains your current choices and any checked feedback. Keep the separate transfer-task work in your own document; downloading its instructions does not mark it complete.

Use the skills in a new task

A paper sequence faces page right, has 30 action seconds and 10 rest seconds, and lacks a final REST card. Describe forward, total time and one precise revision.

Work on paper or in your own document. Explain the choices you made.

  • Use only the pretend details. Do not share private information about yourself or someone else.
  • Use at least two ideas you practiced in this unit.
  • Show the order or calculation, or point to the clue that helped you choose.
  • Keep the task’s safety rule, help step, or another way to take part.
Compare with a model response

Forward points page right because of the stated facing direction. 30+10=40 seconds total duration, with only 30 action seconds. Add the required final REST card and recheck order. A paper plan does not establish real movement performance.

A different response can also meet the criteria. Compare the evidence and reasoning, rather than copying the wording.
