Optional group-support guide

Keep the program
human, consistent,
and useful.

Learners can complete the program independently. This guide gives organizations a concrete weekly rhythm when they choose to add trained facilitation, project feedback, access support, and next-step connections.

A repeatable 60-minute rhythm

Consistency reduces facilitator improvisation and makes support easier to deliver. Organizations can split larger groups into smaller sessions.

  1. 00–08Reconnect

Attendance, one win, one obstacle, and immediate support needs.

  2. 08–20Retrieve

A scenario or short demonstration from the prior week—without opening notes first.

  3. 20–38Work

Project clinic in pairs or with the facilitator using the published rubric.

  4. 38–50Decide

Each learner names one revision and one action before the next session.

  5. 50–60Close

Preview the next dependency, confirm access, and record implementation notes.

What a facilitator can check each week

W01Starting point

See your real money picture

Check that the plan balances without judging income or purchases. For a financial crisis or case-specific advice, use qualified local support.

Progress noteStarting project quality, lesson completion, and confidence in making a monthly money plan.

W02System

Make the plan run every payday

Explain what happens when income changes or a bill arrives early. The system should bend without breaking.

Progress noteA completed payday plan and evidence that the learner can explain report, score, and underwriting as different layers.

W03Protection

Build and protect your credit file

Review the process, never a private credit report. Use official consumer-help channels when a dispute or identity-theft issue needs case-specific support.

Progress noteCompletion of a safe credit action plan and scenario-based credit knowledge.

W04Direction

Choose a target and prove your value

Test whether every strong claim can be supported with a concrete example. Never invent experience to fill a perceived gap.

Progress noteTarget-role quality, evidence-bank completeness, résumé rubric score, and career confidence.

W05Pipeline

Run a job search like a system

Review pipeline quality and reflection, not raw application volume. Identify the stage where progress drops and choose one change to test.

Progress notePipeline usage, interview practice rubric, and applications/interviews reported at follow-up.

W06Leverage

Use AI without outsourcing judgment

Try the workflow on a new example and deliberately introduce one bad output. The stated checks should catch it.

Progress noteWorkflow rubric, privacy/verification knowledge, time-on-task reflection, and repeat-use intent.

W07Evidence

Turn data into a decision

Repeat the refresh test from a fresh copy. If possible, ask a trusted person to try it and record where the written steps are unclear.

Progress noteSpreadsheet performance rubric, handoff usability, and a portfolio-ready work sample.

W08Launch

Test an income path and present the plan

Compare the final project with the starting goal and rubric, then name the next action and any support that would make it easier.

Progress noteFinal project quality, final progress check, completion status, reflection, and optional follow-up schedule.

Session record

Record what happened,
not impressions.

After each group session, the program owner can capture a short delivery log so follow-up and improvements have a clear owner.

Scope and referral boundary

Teach a process. Do not become someone’s unqualified adviser.

Facilitators may explain the curriculum, ask questions, and review work against published rubrics. They should not inspect private credit reports, request account access, promise employment or income, give individualized legal, tax, investment, or medical advice, or handle crises outside organizational procedure.

Before supporting a group

Confirm the operating basics.

  1. 01

    Named program owner and backup

  2. 02

Optional group schedule and attendance expectations

  3. 03

Device, internet, space, and accessibility plan

  4. 04

    Facilitator preparation and small-group structure

  5. 05

    Learner communications and support/referral map

  6. 06

Data access, retention, incident, and deletion rules

  7. 07

    Project-review expectations and feedback standards

  8. 08

Follow-up ownership through the optional 90-day window

Support should remove friction, not add it. Learners can start independently and keep access if they miss a group session.
