An unpublished reward-campaign packet with reward terms, costs, funding goal, fulfillment schedule, stress test and backer update.

Keep your working files in your own notebook or software. Save a private description, checklist, and work link in My Proof.

What to include

  • A campaign promise and two reward descriptions, including a physical-reward cap.
  • A reward and campaign cost model with exclusions labeled. A checked campaign goal and the assumptions that make it feasible.
  • A reward-fulfillment schedule with capacity and delay triggers.
  • A cost stress test and a documented reserve tradeoff.
  • An unpublished campaign packet with a delay update and reasoned launch decision.

Review and revise

Use these criteria to check your work and choose what to improve.

  • Calculations reconcile to the supplied records, with units and dates labeled.
  • Assumptions and missing information are visible, including the changed scenario.
  • The recommendation follows the evidence and explains an important limitation.
  • The six lesson outputs form a usable handoff that another learner can check.

The idea in everyday life

Night Bus’s proof fails a quality check. Printing cannot start until corrected files are approved. New expected proof approval is three workdays later. No additional shipping date is confirmed. The entire exercise stays unpublished and accepts no pledges.

The idea

A responsible campaign plan explains progress, uncertainty and use of funds without promising what cannot be supported.

Write a clear update and launch decision — worked practice

A responsible campaign plan explains progress, uncertainty and use of funds without promising what cannot be supported.

Night Bus’s proof fails a quality check. Printing cannot start until corrected files are approved. New expected proof approval is three workdays later. No additional shipping date is confirmed. The entire exercise stays unpublished and accepts no pledges.

  1. 1. State facts

Draft a short update naming the failed proof and required correction.

You should see: The update explains the specific issue.

Backers need facts rather than vague reassurance.

  2. 2. Explain impact

Say production’s earliest schedule moves three workdays, with delivery estimate pending verification.

You should see: No invented guaranteed arrival date.

    Keep dependencies and uncertainty visible.

  3. 3. Name next checkpoint

Commit in the draft to a progress update after the revised proof review.

You should see: A clear next information point.

A communication promise should be within the creator’s control.

  4. 4. Assemble decision

Attach rewards, costs, goal, fulfillment and stress test; choose revise-before-launch.

You should see: A complete unpublished campaign feasibility packet.

A sound plan can stop before making real promises.

Now change one thing

A proof was due on workday 8 and moves three workdays later. Enter the new proof checkpoint day.
