An unpublished reward-campaign packet with reward terms, costs, funding goal, fulfillment schedule, stress test and backer update.

Keep your working files in your own notebook or software. Save a private description, checklist, and work link in My Proof.

What to include

  • A campaign promise and two reward descriptions, including a physical-reward cap.
  • A reward and campaign cost model with exclusions labeled. A checked campaign goal and the assumptions that make it feasible.
  • A reward-fulfillment schedule with capacity and delay triggers.
  • A cost stress test and a documented reserve tradeoff.
  • An unpublished campaign packet with a delay update and reasoned launch decision.

Review and revise

Use these criteria to check your work and choose what to improve.

  • Calculations reconcile to the supplied records, with units and dates labeled.
  • Assumptions and missing information are visible, including the changed scenario.
  • The recommendation follows the evidence and explains an important limitation.
  • The six lesson outputs form a usable handoff that another learner can check.

Before you begin

The idea in everyday life

Night Bus steps: finalize files 3 days; proof check 2 days after files; print 5 days after approval; pack 40 copies at 20 per hour; shipping handoff after packing. Only 2 packing hours are available. Durations are fictional workdays; delivery transit is not included.

The idea

Funding success creates work obligations. Capacity and dependency planning belong before promises are made.

Follow along

Plan fulfillment capacity and sequence — worked practice

Funding success creates work obligations. Capacity and dependency planning belong before promises are made.

Night Bus steps: finalize files 3 days; proof check 2 days after files; print 5 days after approval; pack 40 copies at 20 per hour; shipping handoff after packing. Only 2 packing hours are available. Durations are fictional workdays; delivery transit is not included.

  1. 1. Sequence dependencies

Put files, proof, print and packing in order.

You should see: Printing cannot begin before proof approval.

A dependency differs from independent work.

  2. 2. Add upstream time

    Sum 3 + 2 + 5.

You should see: Ten workdays before packing begins.

Do not promise shipping before production exists.

  3. 3. Check packing capacity

Divide 40 by 20 per hour.

You should see: Two hours exactly meet the available capacity.

The plan has no spare packing time.

  4. 4. Add buffer and contact rule

Draft a later estimated handoff plus an update if a proof fails.

You should see: A conditional fulfillment calendar with a delay trigger.

Shipping handoff is not delivery arrival.

Now change one thing

A team packs 15 copies per hour for 3 available hours. Enter maximum copies at that rate.

Your work

What to finish

A reward-fulfillment schedule with capacity and delay triggers.

Common mistake

Watch for this

Promising a delivery date from printing time alone.

How can I tell I understand it?

Explain your calculation or classification and reproduce the changed case without copying the worked result.
