Review: Balance and aiming models
Explain simple support, direction and feedback using safe paper models.
Bring the unit skills together
Use these 4 new cases to check your reasoning. Choices are temporary and are not saved to an account, sent to staff or recorded as school grades. Download your current review choices before leaving or reloading.
The download contains your current choices and any checked feedback. Keep the separate transfer-task work in your own document; downloading its instructions does not mark it complete.
Use the skills in a new task
Draw a block base 0–10 with weight line 5, then a target right of a release point with result 8 and target 6. Explain support, offset and a relevant correction.
Work on paper or in your own document. Explain the choices you made.
- Use only the pretend details. Do not share private information about yourself or someone else.
- Use at least two ideas you practiced in this unit.
- Show the order or calculation, or point to the clue that helped you choose.
- Keep the task’s safety rule, help step, or another way to take part.
Compare with a model response
Five lies inside the support with margin in the static block model. The paper offset is 8−6=2 grid units right. A direction or aiming-parameter revision must use that supplied evidence and be rechecked against the target. No balance or throwing performance was assessed.
A different response can also meet the criteria. Compare the evidence and reasoning, rather than copying the wording.
