Review: Plan Inclusive and Reviewable Software

Write acceptance criteria for saving/returning and private-account separation. Describe a synthetic test and a rollback that preserves current records.

Bring the unit skills together

Use these 4 new cases to check your reasoning. Choices are temporary and are not saved to an account, sent to staff or recorded as school grades. Download your current review choices before leaving or reloading.

Unit review questions
1. Saving and later retrieval must preserve the draft. Which criterion addresses the need?
Need a hint?
  • Translate the stated need into a specific observable task result.
  • A count of feature names is not an acceptance test.
2. Same label gets incompatible meanings in two edits. Classify the stated version situation.
Need a hint?
  • Compare the common base and both intended changes before integrating them.
  • A higher-looking label is not proof that all intended changes were preserved.
3. Preview button is activated and feedback observed. Which scope was actually exercised?
Need a hint?
  • State exactly which environment and behavior were exercised.
  • A static page response does not prove a button’s interactive behavior.
4. Stored meaning changed and old behavior is untested. Which rollback plan is described?
Need a hint?
  • Check application/data compatibility and preserve current records when reverting behavior.
  • Restoring an old database dump can erase newer learner work.

The download contains your current choices and any checked feedback. Keep the separate transfer-task work in your own document; downloading its instructions does not mark it complete.

Use the skills in a new task

Write acceptance criteria for saving/returning and private-account separation. Describe a synthetic test and a rollback that preserves current records.

Work on paper or in your own document. Explain the choices you made.

  • Use only supplied fictional inputs and state the relevant rule.
  • Include labeled steps or evidence for each decision.
  • Name one limitation or tempting mistake.
  • Check that the result meets the task and revise a justified error.
Compare with a model response

A synthetic user saves a supplied draft and retrieves the same contents; a second isolated user is denied the private record. Report the exact tested environment. Roll back only to an app verified against current data, without replacing learner records with fixtures.

A different response can also meet the criteria. Compare the evidence and reasoning, rather than copying the wording.
