Unit review questions
1. New fictional key: T=tree, H=hall, S=sandbox. Which letter represents the hall?
2. New plan says north is top. A pond is left of a hut. Where is the pond compared with the hut?
3. New complete paths are A–C and C–D. Which listed route reaches D from A?
4. Friday’s map shows a tent near a tree. Saturday’s invented note reports the tent near a pond. What does the newer record report?

The download contains your current choices and any checked feedback. Keep the separate transfer-task work in your own document; downloading its instructions does not mark it complete.

Use the skills in a new task

Original pretend map, Monday: key H=hall, T=tree, P=pond. North is top. H is left of T; P is below T. Complete paths H–T and T–P. Tuesday note: “A bench was placed beside P.” Describe what H means, the direction of H from T, a shown route from H to P, and what the newer note adds.

Work on paper or in your own document. Explain the choices you made.

  • Use the supplied key.
  • State direction relative to T.
  • Follow only listed paths.
  • Attribute the bench information to Tuesday’s note.
Compare with a model response

H means hall. The hall is west of the tree because it is left of T and north is top. A shown route is H, T, P. Tuesday’s note reports a bench beside the pond; it does not change the listed path connections.

A different response can also meet the criteria. Compare the evidence and reasoning, rather than copying the wording.
