Unit review questions
1. Put handwashing steps in order: A poster shows bubbles then rinsing with no rubbing time. What repair fits?
Need a hint?
  • Community handwashing includes at least 20 seconds of scrubbing.
  • Drying follows rinsing; soap bubbles alone are not the whole method.
2. Choose handwashing moments: The cards read wash-toilet-play. Which repair fits?
Need a hint?
  • Event order matters; a new contact can create a new washing moment.
  • Clean-looking hands can still need washing.
3. Make room for rest: The paper clock starts 8 p.m. and ends 6 a.m.; no actual sleep was measured. Which fits?
Need a hint?
  • A time window shows available time, not measured sleep.
  • Count to midnight and then onward; do not subtract clock labels blindly.
4. Choose variety without food judgments: A paper meal has beans and rice; the task specifically asks to add a vegetable. What fits?
Need a hint?
  • Identify the requested type; one card does not describe a whole diet.
  • Do not change a real allergy plan or test a food in this task.

Use the skills in a new task

Repair a fictional day with cards toilet-play-lunch and a sleep window 9 p.m.–7 a.m. Add a prevention step and calculate the opportunity.

Work on paper or in your own document. Explain the choices you made.

  • Use only the pretend details. Do not share private information about yourself or someone else.
  • Use at least two ideas you practiced in this unit.
  • Show the order or calculation, or point to the clue that helped you choose.
  • Keep the task’s safety rule, help step, or another way to take part.
Compare with a model response

Add handwashing after toilet and before lunch if no intervening wash is shown. The fictional sleep window is 3 hours to midnight plus 7=10 hours, within the 6–12 general range. It is opportunity, not proof of sleep. Add variety using safe food cards without testing real foods.

A different response can also meet the criteria. Compare the evidence and reasoning, rather than copying the wording.
