Compare financial products

Compare two products of the same kind using their current published terms. Use practice amounts and keep account details out of this worksheet.

Choose checking, savings, or consumer credit. Explain the decision and who can open the account, including any age or adult co-owner rules.

Name, opening/minimum balance, monthly/overdraft/ATM fees, interest or APY, APR if borrowing, interest timing, protections, and eligibility.

Link to the provider's current disclosure or official product page.

Use the same categories so the comparison is fair. Do not treat a promotional rate as permanent.

Link to the second product's official disclosure.

Terms change; record when you checked them.

Using sample balances and activity, show monthly fees and interest for both. Explain APR versus APY and label assumptions. A low payment alone does not mean a lower total borrowing cost.

Choose a goal, an affordable saving rule, and a review date. Explain how you would respond to an unexpected expense.

Name an official complaint route, how you would check/correct a credit report, and where you would begin identity-theft recovery. Do not paste reports or identifying details.

Explain the better fit and what you still need to verify. A simulation does not require opening an account or borrowing.
