Measure tire pressure cold using the door-placard value, inspect tread and damage, and understand that the sidewall maximum is not the normal target. Check only owner-approved fluids by the manual's procedure; fluids differ and overfilling can cause harm.

Never open a hot pressurized cooling system, mix unknown fluids, work under an unsupported vehicle, or touch high-voltage components.
